By popular request READING LOGS will be VERY EASY to do this year- promise!
Have your child read at home or complete a take-home activity with your supervision, sign the log form and return it the next day for a TIGER Ticket! Period.
No log brought home?---- Simply send in a handwritten note that your child read at home. You may read with your child, have your child read to you or simply read to your child. Recommended times for Kindergarten starts the year at 10 minutes. First grade would be 15-20 minutes most nights with second graders and up working toward a solid half hour each night of independent reading. Weekend reading counts, too. Remember that parents or other responsible older readers need to sign the logs for credit. Good luck and good reading!
