Welcome to the Central School Response to Intervention Program! Central School welcomes Mrs.Randa Allen this year to our primary (K-2) RTI staff of teachers and welcomes Mrs. Jen Isaacs back to Central to work with RTI students in grades 3-4. We expect to see substantial reading gains for all program participants this year through a scientifically-researched supplemental curriculum along with ongoing reinforcement of the regular reading curriculum offered here at our school. We would also like to announce our use of the AIMSweb system for identifying students who could most benefit from extra instruction in reading at all levels and then monitoring on a frequent schedule those individuals' progress. Key curriculum for our program comes from the Wilson Language Training Corporation/Fundations and the Dr. Michael Heggerty's Phonemic Awareness Curriculum.
