The fourth grade students will begin their project called "Soundtrack of Your Life" in February. Musicians often pick songs to sing or play because they feel a personal connection to them. It is important for us to not only listen to the catchy tune or beat of a song, but to really listen to what the artist is saying in his or her music. Students will be choosing popular songs that have meaning to them and creating a project based on these songs. This project will include choosing songs in music class, creating a CD cover in art class, and typing their own CD inserts in computers.
