Classroom Rules
1. Listen when others are talking.
2. Follow directions.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself
4. Work quietly and do not disturb others.
5. Show respect for school and personal property.
Discipline Policy
We will be using a token behavior system. Each child will be given three tokens each day Any misbehavior will result in a token lost. The child will be responsible for writing the behavior in their log. Students who have not lost tokens will be rewarded with special activities and/or token time. Each student will be bringing home the token sheet on Friday that needs to be signed by the parent and returned to school on Monday. This sheet will list the reason or reasons that your child lost a card on a given day.
Students will immediately pay the following dollar amounts for each specified infraction and all students must pay $4.00 in taxes monthly.
Excessive talking $1.00
Not Prepared $1.00
Not Following Directions $1.00
Disruptive in the hall $1.00
Out of seat $1.00
Excessive Tattling $1.00
Messy desk $1.00
No name on paper $1.00
Refusing to participate $2.00
Interrupting $2.00
Missing assignment $2.00
No parent signature $2.00
Playing in the bathroom $3.00
Hands, feet, or objects on someone else $5.00
Disrespect $10.00
Fighting $10.00
• Items not specified will be determined at the time of incident and added to the policy
Rewards/Incentives
Each student will be given $15.00 at the beginning of each new school week and on Fridays students will be allowed to purchase the following items. Note, items may be added or taken away from the incentives throughout the school year.
Piece of Candy $5.00
Pencil $10.00
Eraser $10.00
School supplies $10.00
Work on floor w/ a blanket for an hour $30.00
30 Minute Computer Pass $30.00
Sit at teacher desk for an hour $40.00
20 minutes of free time $50.00
Homework pass for 1 subject $75.00
Soda in class $100.00
Candy bar $100.00
Lunch with teacher $100.00
