Mrs. Dittmar's First Grade Class

by Eva Dittmar

     Mrs. Dittmar's Class

Did you hear the news?

Here is our incubator where we hatched our eggs. Ask your child:

-Why are there X's and O's on the eggshells?

-How many times do the eggs need to be turned each day?

-How do the eggs get turned on the weekends?

-How many days does it take for a chick to hatch?

-Why will we keep the newly hatched chick in the incubator for several hours after it hatches?

We made our own hatching chick artwork to display in the hallway. Each day we change the count-down number so the whole school will know when our babies are here!

We had a FANTASTIC time on our pumpkin patch field trip to Breautigam's Farm! We had perfect weather, awesome chaperones, and very happy kiddos! Check our day below...
