Welcome to Ms.Becherer's Art website

by Courtney Becherer

Students will learn to explore and create art.  They will learn about the master's both two-dimensional and three-dimensional works.  We will discuss art using basic art terms including the elements and principles of art.  This class will expand their knowledge of age-appropriate art and art concepts.  Students will learn how to hand build and manipulate clay on the throwing wheel, draw, paint, print, sculpt.  Students will learn the importance of supporting their peers through both presenting their artwork and positively critiquing the artwork of others.
