STUDENT GARDEN

The student garden had a rough start with all the rain we had this spring, but with a lot of help from Mr. Anderson, John Amesquitta, Abby Wobbe, the garden keeps going strong. As the pictures above show, we have peppers, sunflowers, tomatoes, corn, cherry tomatoes, squash' pumpkins and watermelon growing. Unfortunately, some vandals raided the watermelon patch and destroyed the melons that were maturing but far from being ripe. The biggest problem has been weeds. If you're in the neighborhood and have energy feel free to visit the garden pull a few weeds and have some fresh produce for your efforts.
When school starts we will be planting fall crops of lettuce, winter squash and more!
