Welcome back, students and parents! I am looking forward to an exciting year full of music exploration and learning. This webpage will serve as an informational tool, providing a yearly schedule, a daily schedule, itineraries and directions, upcoming events, and a copy of this year's handbook.
Every week, I will post practicing and other homework assignments. These will be posted beginning September 13.
The handbook will provide you with all the information you will need this year, including rules, necessary items, practicing tips, and grading criteria.

UPCOMING EVENTS
August 31: Fist Day of School
September 2: Required Parents Meeting at JAMS; 6:00pm - Beginning Band Parents; 7:00pm - All Band and Choir Parents
September 3: 5:30PM - Choir Performance at Gateway Grizzlies Game: Arrive at GCS Stadium in Sauget at 5:30; Students receive a free ticket, and may stay for the entire game! Please click HERE for the itinerary.
September 8 and 10 - 6, 7, and 8th Grade Band to perform with the OTHS Marching Panthers. Please click HERE for a detailed itinerary.
Music courses offered at JAMS include 5/6th Grade Band, 5/6th Grade Choir, 7/8th Grade Band, and 7/8th Grade Choir.
We also offer Beginning Band to our Fifth Grade students who are just learning a musical instrument.
