Dear Parents and Staff,
The safety of our students and staff remains our number one priority. Unfortunately, due to the rising number of positive cases identified among the staff at Central and JAMS, the district will be immediately moving to remote instruction. There has only been 1 positive student case identified since the holiday, so by going remote we will ensure that students are safe and the staff gets well and remains safe. If your child was a direct contact to a staff member or the student, you would have been contacted. Please continue to monitor your child and let us know if they develop symptoms so we can contract trace appropriately. Your child's teacher will be in contact tomorrow with information on logging in and/or picking up materials.
Tomorrow, January 13 will be a Remote Planning Day - NO student instruction
Central will have a pick-up from 1:00-3:00 tomorrow
Thursday, January 14 - All students will start Remote instruction
Thursday from 9;00-11:00 will also be a pick-up day
There is NO school next Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday.
The tentative return to in-person instruction will be Monday, February 1.
We will continue to deliver lunches starting tomorrow to the identified stops in the district.
Thanks for your continued understanding and cooperation. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Stay safe and healthy!
