Central School District offers both breakfast and lunch on every full school day.
Breakfast is offered on all 1/2 days.
SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM
Our District operates under the National School Lunch Program and offers healthy meals to all students.
Central School District offers free and reduced priced meals for those who are eligible.
You may apply for the program at any time during the school year. Applications are always available online in Skyward Family Access. A new application must be completed and on file for each new school year.
This program includes one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Any items purchased individually (ex. Milk) will be charged at a la carte pricing.
Reduced price meals are $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch at all schools.
If your family received a letter stating your child(ren) are Directly Certified for Free meals through the State of Illinois, an application is not required.
Each cafeteria operates on a debit system. Deposit any amount onto the students account and he/she has access to that money when entering their personal ID/PIN number at meal time.
Students may bring money to school with them in an envelope that includes their name, ID number, homeroom (if pertinent), date and amount.
We suggest students turn this money in prior to lunch so that it may be deposited early and ready for their use during meal service.
One check may be written for multiple students - even if they attend different schools. Simply note on the envelope the amount each student should receive.
SKYWARD (FAMILY ACCESS) RevTrak
Parents may pay for school meals online. Access this option through the district website and choose the parent tab. Then choose Skyward/Family Access and the Food Service tab. Once you have set up an account and password, you will be able to monitor your child/children's account, set up email notifications and monitor their accounts online. This is our vehicle to communicate account information with our parents.
LOW ACCOUNT NOTICES:
An email will be generated when your child's account reaches a + $5.00 or below; giving parents enough time to add money to their student's accounts.
You may turn these notices on and off thru your Family Access account.
