OTHS Boys Soccer Win First Regional Title Since 2014

The O'Fallon Boys Varsity Soccer Team won the Regional Title on October 26 for the first time since 2014. The team defeated the Collinsville Kahoks 2-1 to win the title.

Senior Ben Koenig scored the first goal, while senior Brendan Hill scored the game winning goal. Hill had been out for a portion of the season with an ankle injury.

With this win, the O'Fallon team captured its 15th regional title.

JAMS graduate and OTHS Sophomore, Edgar Lopez, is an important member of the OTHS Varsity Soccer Team! We want to say congratulations Edgar! Your hard work and determination on the field and in the classroom has paid off. The staff at Central School District 104 are so proud of you! Keep up the hard work. We know you have a bright future ahead of you!

The boys will now travel to Belleville East on Tuesday evening to take on Edwardsville in the Sectional Semi-Final round. Edwardsville defeated the Panthers 1-0 in a cold, rainy game.
