Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our third through eighth graders take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) every spring. These assessments help us understand how our students are growing academically, compared to their peers across the state. It is important we work together and make your child’s experience with testing a positive and successful one. We have been preparing hard at school all year long. Kudos to our teachers and students for their diligence!
Here are some suggestions for you to help ensure your child does well during testing:
● Ensure your child arrives at school on time.
● Have your child eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school.
● Ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep with a minimum of 8 hours.
● Encourage your child to do their best.
Our students will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness from March 18th through March 27th, followed by the Illinois Science Assessment for grades 5th and 8th.
If you have questions about either assessment, please reach out to your child's teacher or principal. As always, we encourage our students to do their best every day. Thank you for your partnership in your child’s academic success.

Today our 5th-8th grade girls had the opportunity to hear words of empowerment and encouragement from Representative Katie Stuart. This assembly was the kickoff event for the first Annual Girls Empowerment weekend.

Have a great weekend!

LET'S GO JAMS BOYS BASKETBALL! Beat Nashville for the State Championship tonight!

Dear Central 104 Families and Staff,
On February 01, 2024, ClassTag has officially been renamed SchoolStatus Connect. As a result of the rebrand, you may notice new colors and a new logo. If you use the mobile app, your app icon may automatically update to the new logo.
We have been assured that these changes should not impact your ability to access the platform just as you always have.
You may continue to see the "ClassTag" name and brand appear as the SchoolStatus team continues the work to transition all pieces to the new branding.
Here is a full list of rebranding updates you can expect.
Here are a few navigational updates.
If you have any questions about these changes, you can reach out to their support team at support-ct@schoolstatus.com.
