Last night at the Illinois Principals Association southwestern region awards event Central 104 School District came home with several individual within our district receiving awards. Our very own School Board President, Sarah Svoboda received the Board Member of the Year award. Alicia Steele, parent, community member, and activist received the Reaching Out and Building Bridges award. Dr. Tron Young received the Herman Graves award. Congratulations to these three individuals for their outstanding achievement and award last night. We cannot be more proud of our district and our community! #central104rocks

EARLY this morning we recognized 2 of our 4 brand new teachers to the field of education, Carson Smith- 2nd grade at Elser Elementary and Craig Oertel- Co-Teacher at Joseph Arthur. Not pictured are Elser Elementary 2nd grade Hunter Tucker and 3rd Miranda Mertz. All 4 received a check for supplies from the Rotary Club O'Fallon Sunrise!

Congratulations to JAMS Band students, Landon Garner and Kennedi Partl! They auditioned for the Belleville Philharmonic Fall Youth Orchestra and made it in. They will continue to practice and work hard every moment of everyday to prepare for this performance!
